I've finally finished knitting it - three minutes ago!
I have made it a lot longer than it should've been and only have a little yarn left so need to think about some sort of fringing.
I desperately wanted to get the knitting finished before I went to Kangaroo this morning but couldn't stay up anylonger tlast night!!

Just Joined
I joined this group in Ravelry, now I'm here, too - in the outside world. I adore entrelac. So I was very glad to find these groups!
This is the hat and scarf I made for my niece for Christmas. She's cute, isn't she. The scarf is 'regular' entrelac, and the hat is my own design.
I used Nashua Wooly Stripes in the lilac colorway (I think). Jasmine says the hat is nice and warm. I tend to knit outer wear at a smaller-than-recommended gauge to make the fabric a little more dense.

Yarn Forward Magazine
Did you know there is a brilliant entrelac bag pattern and an in depth tutorial in the latest Yarn Forward Magazine ?
This issue had some last minute problems but all that aside the content is as excellent as always.

It's well underway!
My Lady Eleanor is growing! I am on the second tier already. My kids think it's strange that I am only really on the second 'row'!
I am using Lang Mille Colori, which is lovely to work with, on 5.5mm needles.

An Idea
How about we get ourselves into groups? Choose a pattern and then inspire and help each other to get started?
What are you making?
Anybody got any Entrelac on the needles they want to share?
I am on my sixth ball of Noro Transitions, this is beginning to look a lot like a long blanket! I am in fact knitting the Lady Eleanor and since learning to knit backwards, I am totally hooked on this clever way of knitting. The yarn does the hard work for me. Lady Eleanor is a lot longer than the photo shows....
